Architecture and Landscape Architecture

Our proposed solution for architectural design centers around our 3D CAD program Domus.Cad. Using the most advanced technologies, Domus.Cad allows interactive design and walkthroughs in real time. With Domus.Cad you can immediately begin to create three-dimensional elements without needing to start from a two-dimensional plan. Elements such as walls, floors, roofs, and stairs are created from the onset in their full three-dimensional form. Watch the 3D model change in real time as you design in plan.

Domus.Cad's strong 3D capabilities are matched by its equally impressive array of 2D CAD tools. This makes it just as easy to produce a full set of presentation and construction documents as it is to create the architectural model itself.

A 3D terrain model created with Nonio C can be exported to Domus.Cad where the building model may be designed directly on it. The opposite is also possible, allowing a project designed with Domus.Cad to be imported by Nonio C where it may be freely positioned on the terrain model.

DigiCad 3D is an excellent tool for dealing with images, drawings, photographs of building facades and maps. It operates either directly on raster images or by digitization. It is used in photogrammetry, cartography and, increasingly in recent years, in architectural photogrammetry, for which it offers powerful, easy-to-use and exclusive instruments.

For the designer who wants to go beyond the rendering capabilities offered in Domus.Cad, the program can share information freely with many other modeling and rendering programs on the market, such as Artlantis R and Studio, Cinema 4D, FormZ, StudioPro, and many others.

Solutions for Topography and Surveys

Nonio C, DomusTerra and DigiCad 3D together offer an optimum solution for anyone working in topography or the representation and modeling of terrain.

Nonio C is a program for modeling large topographic and cartographic surveys using triangles, contour lines, slope charts, color shading, sections, and three-dimensional views. All modifications can be seen in real time in a continuously rendered 3D view. It is possible to fly around the terrain or do a "walkthrough" in real time. The rendering can be enhanced using plug-in renderers. Textures may be imported to the 3D view to simulate materials or soils. Movement throughout the model is controlled using the mouse or keyboard.

DomusTerra has all the characteristics of its big brother Nonio C - interactive modeling, walkthroughs in real time, supports textures, supports plug-in renderers - with some limitations regarding direct plotting, modeling and allowable number of points. While Nonio C is best suited for more elaborate surveys and for modeling large tracts of land, DomusTerra can be used for smaller projects and architectural landscaping.

DigiCad 3D allows digitization of 3D maps that can then be used as the base or reference for the creation of a model using Nonio C. As with images, so maps can have perspective distortion eliminated , removing distortions on the support material or errors in copying, scanning and printing. DigiCad 3D allows one to work on maps joining and superimposing raster and vectorial maps and to define any kind of mapping coordinate references.

Solutions for Photogrammetry

DigiCad 3D represents an economical and highly effective solution for building surveys using photographs. Elevations can be recreated using photos taken with any camera and a few on-site measurements.

Solutions for the Geotechnical Fields

Interstudio proposes a theoretically advanced, yet simple and fast series of programs that - when used together - make Macintosh the most advanced platform available for confronting geotechnical problems. Geo-Tec A interprets penetrometric tests and Geo-Tec B verifies the stability of slopes and related built structures (retaining walls, etc.).

Nonio C can be used along with the Geo-Tec programs to model the related excavation work and create clinometric maps.

DigiCad 3D allows work and development of various types of maps.
